Information technology resources

In addition to desktop and portable computers, the program has access to the infrastructure of the Scientific Computing Laboratory of the UFES Department of Physics (sci-com), which is managed by the Núcleo Capixaba de Computação Científica (NC3) of UFES. The sci-com includes 20 computational nodes, featuring high-performance GPUs, and is integrated into the RNP e-Science Network, with a minimum speed of 100 Gbps.

Students and faculty of the program have access to the CBPF cluster, and the faculty members frequently have projects underway on the Santos Dumont supercomputer at the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC).
